Think magazine, Promotions and Marketing Director

I tracked our progress through the use of Google Analytics.
Media kit outlining the mission statement and audience of Think magazine. I lead our team to develop copy and demographic research as well as design. Direct Mail Promotion Cards
Promotion cards were used to build anticipation to our launch party as well as our magazine and website launch date. Included QR codes that linked to our mobile website as well as all social media and website information. Each card featured a preview of a story that was published in our Spring edition. We distributed the cards locally as well as throughout key states in our demographic as our reporters traveled through the US. Download a full PDF file below.
Think Promotional Video
I created this promotional video as a tool to promote our magazine's launch party. In addition to this video we created posters and promotion cards to create buzz around our magazine. To create this video I interviewed the band and edited the images and audio.
Social media was a large part of Think's marketing strategy, as the marketing director I interacted with fans on a daily basis through the use of facebook and twitter. We built a community around sharing content, videos and links with a goal to encourage our audience to be politically and socially engaged. We were able to build a large fan base even before our product launched.
Twitter was a valuable tool for my marketing of Think magazine. I used it to engage readers and motivate them to view our website and Facebook. I also used twitter as a means to engage in conversations that were pertinent to our mission statement.
Harnessing the Heat
